Our Bakehouse is the perfect connection between our Hacienda restaurants and Hacienda Bakeaways offering freshly baked pastries made from scratch at every location. Back in 2013, we started Hacienda offering great coffee, a limited menu, and desserts that we made at our own home. Nothing else, but, little by little, we continued to grow and with that, our menu expanded. Slowly, another pastry, another homemade bread, another muffin...
In 2017, following the opening of our second location, we decided to bring all our baking in-house. This is when the bakehouse was created. In a small workshop, working early mornings and late nights, we created an extensive assortment of baked goods and had fun experimenting on the next famous dessert.
As the years past, we realized that our workshop was too small to meet our growing demands. In 2020 we moved the bakehouse to a larger location and upgraded it to a full scale, state-of-the-art, commercial baking kitchen.
Today, our bakehouse has blossomed into a collaborative team of pastry chefs and cooks that create all our baked goods in our fully equipped commercial kitchen.
Our vision behind the bakehouse was simple… to create extraordinary pastries and baked goods with high-quality ingredients.
We were never satisfied by the idea of outsourcing.
We wanted to control every step of the process from the source our butter to the ideal baking temperature.
Our goal was to bake foods using traditional recipes (and a modern twist) using ingredients that we felt good giving to you.
